Welcome to the Fluid 4.0-in-a-row game!
Place your moves on the board and challenge our sorting machine to a duel.
- You play X
- the machine responds O
- The first player to occupy 4 adjacent positions of the 5x5 board wins.
Each move controls a real machine movement in the background.
The actual energy consumption is taken into account for each movement.
What happens in the background?
- The moves are transmitted to the sorting machine.
- Every positioning consumes energy.
- At the end, this is used to calculate the CO₂ footprint of your game.
Your game will thus become a digital product with its own CO₂ profile.
Game over? Pick up your prize!
After the game, you will receive a unique game code.
Pick up your prize with a personalized label at the booth.
At home, you can then calmly:
- Review your game
- Track all your movements
- and discover your carbon footprint
Play now and experience how digitalization and sustainability come together.

Game Number – Your Digital Trace
The Fluid 4.0-in-a-row demonstrator illustrates how Asset Administration Shells enable transparent and traceable data exchange across systems. Each physical action – in this case playing a game – is linked to a persistent digital representation that can be accessed, analyzed, and reused later.
Each game played in Fluid 4.0-in-a-row automatically creates a digital record in the form of an Asset Administration Shell (AAS). Your Game Number printed on this label serves as the unique identifier of this digital twin.
By entering the Game Number into the search field of the Metalevel Viewer on the FLUIDON or Fluid 4.0 website, the complete AAS of the game can be retrieved at any time. This includes all relevant information generated during the gameplay, such as process data, results, and associated metadata.
This approach demonstrates the potential of the AAS concept for Industry 4.0 applications, where products, processes, and systems are represented by standardized digital twins that remain accessible throughout their lifecycle.

Fluid 4.0 - Implementation of digitization for Fluid Technology 4.0
In the Fluid 4.0 project, fluid technology manufacturers, machine and system manufacturers, users and service providers are working together on the digitalisation of fluid technology using asset administration shells, submodels and demonstrators. Both specific applications and overarching challenges are being addressed.
FLUIDON is actively contributing its extensive expertise in the simulation of fluid technology systems to the project. It is developing an Industry 4.0-compliant simulation solution and the associated infrastructure for the integrated and digital engineering of fluid technology systems.
