FLUIDON Cube, the “Virtual Engineering Lab” from the Aachen-based innovator in the field of fluid engineering, is in the running for a prestigious award: Cube has been nominated by the INDUSTRIAL Production magazine editorial team for the “Products of the Year 2026” readers' choice award in the automation, digitalization, and networking category. Online voting is now open and will run until 31 January.

Aachen, Germany – July 03, 2025 - FLUIDON GmbH, service provider and innovator in the development of software solutions for the fluid engineering world, is relocating its headquarters after almost 30 years in Jülicher Straße to Theaterstraße 13 in the heart of Aachen city center in July 2025. The previous premises, which had primarily been used to accommodate physical test benches, were no longer suitable under the new conditions, as the development of joint solutions has increasingly shifted from the test bench to the cloud. FLUIDON no longer builds test benches in-house, but designs and supports them directly at the customer's site. The measurement data obtained in this way seamlessly integrates into the simulations with DSHplus via cloud-based evaluation workflows – a continuous development process that enables customers to utilize their digital twins efficiently. By relocating to the city center, FLUIDON is also moving closer to RWTH Aachen University and Aachen University of Applied Sciences, positioning itself as an attractive employer for young talent in software development and mechanical engineering. “We are looking forward to the new environment and the benefits of shorter distances to RWTH Aachen University and FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences, with whom we have already completed numerous projects in the past,” said Heiko Baum.

FLUIDON is participating as a co-exhibitor in the FLUID POWER 4.0 special show, which is taking place at HANNOVER MESSE 2025 in Hall 5, Stand D44. The special show is organized by the FLUID 4.0 consortium under the leadership of the VDMA. Interested visitors can experience how drive and fluid technology components and systems work together seamlessly using a hydraulics connected demonstrator and a pneumatic ballpoint pen assembly machine. In the age of Industry 4.0, mobile machines are becoming increasingly intelligent and connected. In this context, Fluidon will be presenting simulation solutions at the 13th Mobile Hydraulics Colloquium that cover the entire life cycle of mobile machines – from development to commissioning, training, condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. A demonstrator shows an aerial work platform in the virtual development environment Fluidon Cube. The real-time simulation with 3D visualisation follows the instructions given by the visitor using the real joysticks or calculated by the path control in automatic mode. Visitors are encouraged to try it out for themselves: anyone can test their own operating skills or see for themselves the advantages of the aerial work platform's easy control in automatic mode.

Aachen, Germany - March 04, 2024 - FLUIDON GmbH, service provider and innovator in the development of software solutions for the fluid power engineering world, is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of Fluidon Cube at the 14th International Fluid Power Conference (14th IFK). Dr. Heiko Baum, Managing Director of FLUIDON GmbH, will give a presentation titled "A novel SaaS development platform for fluid power standard drives" on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 3:45 pm, where he will introduce the innovative platform.

The Asset Administration Shell, or AAS for short, the leading concept in the implementation of the digital twin, connects physical components with data and digital services and makes them available to all partners involved in the value creation via a standardised interface. With these properties, AAS is an enabler of continuous and efficient machine and plant development with a lot of potential for new business models. In this context, FLUIDON implements the AAS for the area of simulation model-based development and thus strengthens the link between components and their simulation models, whether in development or during operation.
